Another great one.

This is perhaps my personal favorite in the series, heh.

Graphics: 10. Greatly improved from the first Salad Fingers, the graphics here convey the disturbing surroundings even better. The dead, twisted plants and nettles show that even a less-barren area near Salad Fingers' home is still very...wrong. Also a lot of detail with SF's teeth, heh.

Style: 10. Excellent as always. We get to see deeper into Salad Finger's mind...like how he seems blissfully unaware of death. He does not ignore the corpse of Harry...he actually speaks to it as though it's alive, invites it in, hangs it on his wall, and asks if it's :gulp: thirsty. This would seem to be rather psychopathic behavior, yet I still end up feeling a bit of pity for the confused Salad Fingers. I honestly wonder if you have a Psych degree...

Sound: 10. Again uses subtle, creepy music that matches the barren wilds of the area, and the dark sparseness of Salad Fingers' home, perfectly. Harry sounds particularly animalistic...one wonders what the story is behind these characters.

Violence: 5. What Harry intended to do to Salad Fingers, we'll never know; him trying to break into his home to the point of bludgeoning himself to death is a rather disturbing concept.

Interactivity: 0. Movie, none.

Humor: 10. Both Salad Fingers getting off of rubbing nettles on his nipple and later offering his milk were disturbingly hilarious.

Overall: 10. Newgrounds needs more deep, artistic flash like this.

How to improve: Nothing I can suggest. This is a masterpiece.

Delightfully disturbing.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this already...

Graphics: 9. While not mind-blowingly 'pretty', you have an artistic style that is very unique and interesting...and maybe a tad disconcerting. Salad Fingers looks relatively simple (betraying the complexity of his...for lack of a better word, condition), but not in a bad way.

Style: 10. So this was the beginning of the David Firth style on Newgrounds, eh? Good start, I'd say. While this installment is the least involved of the series, it still has that eye-catching, slightly creepy feel that your fans love you for.

Sound: 9. The simple looping background music, while not creepy in itself, becomes rather disturbing when put in context with the desolate environment. Salad Fingers has a tone that, like the BGM, is not inherently creepy...but the way he talks and breathes makes the viewer know there is something very wrong with him.

Violence: 0. None.

Interactivity: 0. Movie, none.

Humor: 4. The feeling of rust against my salad fingers is almost ORGASMIC.

Overall: 10. An awesome flash that sparked the series that leaves Newgrounders craving more. Out of all of your series, this is my favorite (except for maybe Spoilsbury Toast Boy). Good job.

Ways to improve: I wouldn't suggest you change a thing. This artistic style is distinctly your own, and since the truth about Salad Fingers is still unresolved in the series, I can't say what you're trying to convey. This is perfect as it is.

Very good

The Portal's been getting a lot of high-profile, kick-ass flash lately. It's a good time to be a B/P'er on this site, heh.

Graphics: 8. The graphics aren't perfect, but they're better than average, using a combination of simplicity and originality to achieve a good final result. The animation was smooth; it was rather high-intensity and I had to scale down the quality to watch, but that's my machine's fault, not yours.

Style: 9. A nice, crazy fighting movie. Having the monster pursue the hero through the movie made for a very interesting show and a sense of suspense that is a definite plus. I never knew when the thing was about to break into the room, heh.

Sound: 9. Good sound effects and background music, which is all one can ask for.

Violence: 10. Obvious rating here...lots of hand-to-hand, melee, and firearm combat with blood and gore and death. Ripping the hearts out of enemies kicks ass, too.

Interactivity: 0. Movie.

Humor: 2. While this isn't really meant to be a funny movie, there were still a few humorous moments, such as the push-up'ing guys and the heart-removal. So it gets a few points for this category.

Overall: 9. Very good movie, with action and violence and suspense. Guess we know what today's Daily Feature will be, eh?

How to improve: If there is anything to improve, I really can't think of it. Good job, and this easily earned my fifen.

Holy. Fucking. Shit.

...why is this the first time I'm hearing about you?!

That was...goddamn, good sir, that was quite possibly the best animation I've ever seen on Newgrounds. I've been saying that a lot lately; I keep thinking I've seen the best there is, and then something new tops it! Pico Day sure brings out the best in people...

Graphics: 10. Damn damnity damn, that was excellent. Beautiful graphics and animation that was smooth and sexy. Professional-grade smooth and sexy. I have no idea how long this took to make, but I'm sure it must have been one hell of an endeavor.

The Nene upskirt shot wasn't too shabby, either. O_O

Style: 10. This is what Newgrounds is about. A community of insanity and violence and action. Never before have I seen the site so well personified in a flash...Tom was a particularly nice touch, all hot and sexy and powerful. Nice to see P-Bot in action, as well.

Sound: 10. Perfect choice in music and sound effects.

Violence: 10. Blood and gore and swords and guns and battle robots and force fields and pyrokinesis and...yeah. Fucking win. I haven't seen a battle this bloody and hot since...since, ever, I guess!

Humor: 10. So damn good to see a battle royal amongst the best of Newgrounds. Faptastic.

Overall: 10. This flash just wins, forever. Forever and fucking always.

How to improve: Um...make another next year? :-D

Very awesome.

A very worthy Daily Feature to have up for Pico Day. :-D

Review breakdown:

Graphics: 10. Very, very awesome. Some of the best graphics I've ever seen. The animation was fluid, the characters looked great, the weapons looked hot. Nice to see the NG Tank kicking some ass, too, heh.

Style: 10. As a stat-whore B/P'ing Elite Guard Supreme Commander, I can appreciate the concept of this flash better than most people, heh. Sometimes it feels like the Portal is just overwhelmed with crap...I wouldn't mind having Pico and the gang at my back sometimes...the dark form of the bad flashes was a nice touch, too; that's how I draw them in my own flash (although with considerably less sexiful graphics, of course).

Sound: 9. Very nice choice of soundtrack and excellent sound effects. Synching was perfect. That's all we can ask of a flash.

Violence: 6. Guns and swords and tanks, all without being excessively bloody...some people like gore, some don't, so this flash can cater to all audiences, which is what the spirit of Pico Day is all about: everything, by everyone, and for everyone.

Interactivity: 0. It's a movie, after all, heh.

Overall: 10. Very aesthetically-pleasing, very exciting, very well-made flash. Certainly deserves the high score, the Daily Feature, and its place in the Pico Collection. Congratulations. ^_^

Fucking win.

...Jesus motherfucking Christ.

Graphics: 10. Holy damn, y'all are good. I can't really say anything more, this is the best graphics I've seen on Newgrounds.

Style: 10. WHAT A TWIST

Sound: 10. Excellent, clear, sexy.

Violence: 0. I didn't expect him to not jump. I need to watch more JohnnyUtah, I guess...

Interactivity: 10. I fapped, okay?

Humor: 10. Best start to Pico Day anyone could ask for. Dick jokes DO win, heh.

Overall: 10. Dear lord, win.

How to improve: Like I'd try to lecture you on good flash.

All I can say is OH SNAP

I didn't think anything would ever dethrone Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom on my favorite flash list, but damn, this did.

I re-watched Volume 1 before looking at this, since it'd been a while...good idea, too, because Vol. 1 got me stoked and Volume 2 fucking rocked my world. I didn't think it'd be possible for you to out-do yourself in the second part, but you managed.

Breakdown of review stats:

Graphics: 10. I'm honestly amazed my computer could run this without overheating (long story, my machine sucks), but it did. The graphics managed to be beautiful without relying on the excessive effects that slow other flashes down. The characters/gore was done awesomely as well; the maimed battle-mech freaked me out, heh.

Style: 10. Madness on steroids. This surpasses Madness in every way, though, so heh. The movie was full of action and suspense; when Snowball got injured, and the metal rabbits were pouring down, and the mangled battle-mech broke through the wall, I thought it was over...this flash actually got my heart racing. Very few movies have done that.

Sound: 10. Excellent. It added flavor to the fighting, and managed to melt into the background to the point where the animation and the music were one thing, inseparable. Helped add to the suspense and the heart-pounding action.

Violence: 10. What else could I put? I loved when the sleeping guard awoke to a room full of corpses and shot himself. I would too, I think...

Interactivity: 10. Menu, scene select, quality toggle...everything a movie can be expected to have.

Humor: 10. I think I actually said "aww" when Snowball's face lit up when he got that new weapon. I think I did in the first volume, too. Made even more amusing because he was surrounded by hacked-up bodies.

Overall: 10. Wish I could give it a 100, because I'll be damned if this isn't the single most incredible flash I've ever seen on Newgrounds. At the time I write this review it's not even out of judgement and it's already got front page and in the Madness collection. Seems the higher powers love you too, hehe, and you most definitely deserve it.

I am incredibly happy and honored to yet again get to vote on a Bunnykill movie under judgement...and very pleasantly surprised, as it was on the portal when I woke up and got online. ^_^

Ways to improve: Rofl, if there's any way this could be better, I don't know it. I'm but a humble low-grade flash maker who struggles with tweens... XD

So yes...thank you for making this epic flash (did you really make it in flash 5?!). Highlight of my day, and my favorites list. Don't worry about taking so long...I wouldn't expect something this good to be made on the fly.

So do what I'm going to do, sit back and fap to all the awesome reviews this is going to get, heh.

...Bunnykill 4? :hopeful smile:

Mottis responds:

Wow that was pretty in-depth review. Thanks.

pretty damn good

Good stopmotion is very hard and time-consuming to do, and you did it very well; the animation was exceptionally smooth, and the sound synching was superbly done. So yes, this flash managed to make me laugh and be awed by its prowess. Fifen. ^_^

This lacks one very important thing

A preloader. Go ahead and make one yourself or download one of the NG preloaders. With a file this large, it's pretty much necessary, otherwise the movie will be choppy as it loads.

omg omg omg

She's gonna get all wet. :-D

By the way, you owe me a few thousand dollars to help fund the repairs to my roof. Seems that the boner this gave me rocketed up and broke a hole in the ceiling.

Also, I think I hit a 747 somewhere up there. So, uh...shit.

:fapping:

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

Make Risako pay up.

I don't even know what this is! This sort of thing ain't my bag, baby!
