Due to my writing work (namely the latest chapter of Sinners, 62000 words...yeah...), I've been rather inactive in recent months. With that titanic chapter behind me, though, and the Elite Guard Barracks calling to me, I shall return with significantly more activity! My wake-up call was the realization that I MISSED A DEPOSIT. OH GOD. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW TO LEVEL UP, INSTEAD OF TODAY.

*sobs*

NEVER AGAIN.

Thus I have returned, and I will continue my efforts to protect the Portal and keep the grandest morons on Newgrounds from fucking up the site any more than they already are, as well as aiding those who wish to do the same. :-D

Something I HAVE been up to on Newgrounds, though...Toss the Turtle. I love this game. Big time.

W-P-S also made a swell sequel to Anusboy. Hooray for actual artists!

Sinners is...difficult to describe in a single sentence or two.

It's an adventure/romance novel set in Hoenn, which I've roughly modeled on the third generation games. I decided to set the third generation to be twenty years after the creation of Mewtwo, meaning that while guys like Wallace and Watson would be the same age as in the games, first-gen characters would be significantly older (though they rarely make an appearance; I am not at all a fan of the anime). The Sinners-Hoenn is quite a bit different from the games, mainly because I'm trying to give the story a more realistic feel, and having bumbling groups of costumed criminals ranting about wanting MOAR OCEAN...well, it needs some adjustment, lol.

The short summary: Sinners is an adventure/romance novel about a young man and his Gardevoir falling in love, despite the enormous stigma that their society has against such a thing. As the lovers try to avoid the world's judgmental glare, they find themselves embroiled in conflict with the disturbing and inhuman Kiako Sensiari, the dark man he swears loyalty to, and the combined criminal forces of Hoenn, all of whom seem to be after some terrible power that has been locked away for centuries.

It's a bit more complicated than that, as the story deals with everything from religion (including fundamentalism and radicalism) to existential threats to the universe, with a love story trying to survive the whole time. Currently 29 chapters, maybe (and this is a very rough estimate) a quarter million words, only on Arc 2 of 10.
