Not the worst Tetris variant I've seen.

...but not the best, either.

Graphics: 6/10. Reasonable graphics and animation. Nothing stellar (except perhaps for the background, har har, get it, there are stars), but I know what everything is and the 3D effect is alright.

I dearly wish that you had included an option to toggle quality, however. There's a brief chance to right-click and toggle it during the preloader, but once the game starts, you're stuck with it.

Sound: 0/10. No sound? Really?

Playability: 8/10. Controls are fluid enough and the rules are sensible, and that's all that's really required for a game this relatively simple. Pausing when one clicks outside the flash window is a nifty thing.

Overall presentation: 3/10. The gameplay itself is solid and the graphics are alright, but the lack of sound, in-game quality control functions, and absurdly long into more than cancel out its strong points.

Ways to improve: Firstly, SOUND. Sound effects and background music are both necessary for a quality flash. Secondly, as I said, the ability to control quality level is a must---either don't disable it in the right-click menu or have a button, in-game or on the keyboard, that toggles it. Lastly, the intro is very long (another reason why quality control is important---it might speed it up a bit)---the whole 'light up the title' sequence takes so long that waiting through it for the game is...well...not worth the wait. Tidy up these flaws and you'll have a MUCH more solid game.

Hi SlashFirestorm,
thanks for your feedback.
You can skip the intro pressing ESC, I'll add a text to inform the player as soon as possible.
Quality control is removed from menu because quality is already set to LOW and changing to different values (MEDIUM or HIGH) slow down framerate.
NO SOUND: the main problem is that sound in flash really kills performance.
In normal flash games this isn't a big problem, but my game is a 3D game and this push flash player to the limit.
If I add music/sound with actual flash player the game become unplayable, next flash player version should support 3D hardware acceleration so things could change but for now adding sound is not possible.

I lol'ed.

Graphics: 3/10. Not exactly stellar, but considering how quick you made it, and considering who it was mocking, I suppose that was the point.

Sound: 3/10. Meh, it wasn't maddeningly stupid or anything.

Humor: 10/10. I would love it if a game was made where you beat the shit out the less-than-brilliant segments of the Newgrounds population, especially if there was beautifully whine-tastic voice acting for their screams of "HEY FOAMY IS GREAT" and "PLEASE STOP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD". Ridiculously large bankai sword also made me lol.

Overall presentation: 8/10. I wish something like this would steal an award instead of unfunny spam crap. Certainly more deserving. :'(

Ways to improve: fucking make that game I just mentioned. :-P

Nice flash, good sir.

PowerRangerYELLOW responds:

You guys got some really good ideas to make this into a better game and keep the reviews coming because i do reply to every review i read now.

Good suggestion on fighting the foam heads and other different segments of the ng population.

Sexy and funny.

Looks good, and is a simple but funny work. Good job. I enjoy throwing darts into small children. :-D

Out of curiosity, what's the name of the song in this?

Gaizka responds:

It the theme to the classic British student gameshow, 'Blockbusters' presented by the legendary Bob Holness.

I loved this

Even without nudity (lol), this was a very attractive, sophisticated dress-up. So good, in fact, it's going on my favorites list, and I am very discriminating with what goes on my favorites list, hehe.

And I don't know what the rest of these guys are complaining about, but I LOVED the music! What's the name of it?

Puffsgain responds:

Thank you for the wonderful review ^^

The songs called "Ryuusei" by TiA. It's one of the Naruto ending theme songs.

okay...

I voted for passing, because it's nifty and gives me nostalgia for Pipe Dream, lol. Here's a few easy improvements you could make:
1)---Music. This has a very small filesize, so you have plenty of room to stick some nice music in there! Try to find something appropriate to a fast-paced puzzle game and it adds a LOT to the overall quality.
2)---Background. Right now, it's so...utility room, lol. All bland. Find a good background picture, add some color to things.
3)---Score. Make a score option for the more pipes the water travels through, and make you lose points for replacing a laid pipe piece, lol.
I wish I could give you more but I'm a total newbie at flash, whose skills are limited to tweening, lol. But I'm sure others can help ya get better.
This is playable and passable, but could use some extra spice, lol. Good luck in the future, and I hope this passes judgement.

caboos1 responds:

lol iv never played pipe dresam befor

not bad at all!

My only advice is to make it so you, and more importantly, the files, can't go off the screen...lol. But everything else was good. 5/5 ^_^

HyperDoom responds:

That will be hard becuse the animation goes off the screen, but thats why I made the ship go off screen

Nice!

I prefer this over the dog one. Superhero is much cooler! lol 5/5, 10/10. ^_^

Kenney responds:

Yay! Hurray! W00T! OMG! thanks!

nice

The only problem is the lag (with music on it's pretty much unplayable), but i wouldn't know how to prevent that. But the game is pretty sweet, so you get a protection vote from me! ^_^

Foreverkul responds:

Sweetness! Thanks man :D

eh

I gave it a 2/5. Maze games like this are okay, but this one was too short, and plus, like most maze games, you can easily cheat by holding down on the mouse. Disable that and it'll be a lot better.
Also, the short music loops got annoying REAL fast...I'd say just have one good, long track that continuously plays throughout all the levels.

Sensei-Man responds:

ME: YOU HAVE AIDS, LOL

YOU: O RLY?

Not bad at all but one BIG error

On the whistle requirements...Gold and Deity are not as simple as that to get. Like the levels above 9, their requirements are determined by the highest whistler (currently ramagi), and go up as she gains more whistle points. Since the bar she has set is so high, it is virtually impossible to get the Gold/Deity whistles. In fact, there is only one Gold Whistle holder (_Joe_) and only one Deity (ramagi) currently. People who flag hundreds of abusive reviews and whistle every rule-breaking flash they see still find themselves with silver, even after years of effort.

kinetic-1 responds:

Yes, but, as the rules set to standard by Tom when the site was made, you have to have 100. I mean, Ramagi has to leave NG sometime, and when that time comes, a new standard will be set.

I don't even know what this is! This sort of thing ain't my bag, baby!
